Engineering Diploma

GLORY Career Training Centre started to join with City & Guilds (UK) in 2005 for international level engineering diploma course. At the moment, the Glory is running the courses on electrical and electronics, mechanical, civil, telecom, and refrigeration and air conditioning. The courses can be attended by matriculation level candidates, either passed it or not, without age restriction. Two-month free engineering foundation course is aimed for the trainees who have not passed the matriculation level. Engineering diploma and advanced diploma courses, from NQF level 2 to 5 under the UK Qualification Framework, are available at the GLORY. After completing level 5, another one year course can be attended in Singapore or the UK for B.Eng (Hons). Engineering Diploma courses run twice a year in June and December. Theory exams are supervised by the British Council and the practical assignments are overseen by the External Verifier appointed by City & Guilds. Those who pass these courses will receive diploma conferred by City & Guilds. After completing this diploma, UK degree can be obtained in foreign universities. Otherwise, local or oversea jobs can be tried. Many trainees who successfully completed the courses of Glory are now working in Singapore. Teachers at the GLORY have prolonged experience with City & Guilds curriculum. In addition, the GLORY could generate the four students who won Medal of Excellence for their highest scores in the world in these courses.
