City & Guilds is an international organization that is conferring certificates through skill tests for a range of vocational and technical subjects. It was established in more than 130 years ago, and 1.2 million candidates across the world sit for its examinations every year. Based in the United Kingdom, City & Guilds has opened its branch offices in more than 100 countries, with over 8,500 approved centres conducting its courses. The GLORY is one of them, with registration number 826801. It affiliated with City & Guilds for the courses of engineering qualification.
Okayama Institute of Science & Technology (OIST) is based in Okayama-shi of Okayama prefecture in Japan. It specializes in engineering and vocational training courses such as bioscience, visual and audio, electrical engineering, architecture, surveying and civil engineering, manufacturing and automotive engineering. The Institute is officially recognized by Japanese Ministry of Culture and Science and the Ministry of Justice, and the Immigration Bureau. The GLORY signed MOU with this institute for cooperation in education in 2013. The OIST is now supporting the GLORY with technologies, curriculum and text books for automotive maintenance courses.
BMC College from Singapore is conducting diploma and degree level courses for engineering, accounting, business, computing, hospitality, etc. Established in 1966, it has won Edu Trust certificate from Singaporean government. Starting from the mid of 2019 , GLORY joined BMC college for those students who wish to get B.Eng (Hons) degree.
As the Glory is teaching the professional/vocational training subjects, it is working with the state-level organization National Skill Standards Authority (NSSA) in assessing and evaluating the skills of workers and developing national standards for skills. At present Glory Career Training Centre is acting as a NSSA Assessment Centre to represent NSSA in testing automotive mechanic skills. Skillful mechanics without certificate need to take a test for certification at the Centre. Some trainers from Glory are now performing as NSSA Assessors for this test.
